Schedule for guided tours of the Château de la Rivoire

July and September, Monday through Friday: guided tours at fixed times. Closed in August.

 

Two types of visits: a grand tour (90 minutes) or a small tour (45 minutes)

Grand tour:

Castle interior: entrance, grand reception room, dining room, kitchen, grand staircase, corridor and chapel

Castle exterior: the outbuildings, horse-drawn carriage house, orangery, grape conservation room and ice house.

Short tour:

Ground floor of the castle, outbuildings, orangery, gardener's house and ice house

​

    Morning :         Short tour : 10 a.m.                               Grand tour  : 11 a.m.

    Afternoon:        Short tour : 2p.m., 3 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.   Grand tour : 4 p.m.

October to June, by appointment, for groups of at least 10 people

Rates

Short tour : 3 euros

Grand tour : 6 euros

Students and children (12-18 years old) : half price

Free for children under 12 years old

 European Heritage Days

​

Every year in September, the Château de la Rivoire opens its doors on the Saturday and Sunday afternoon of the national journées du patrimoine, a weekend that celebrates France’s heritage. There is a single price of € 2 per visitor, free for children.
